What is the Home for the Holidays: Jamaica Rebuild Mission?

This mission was created to help my friends, colleagues, and families in Westmoreland and Negril rebuild after Hurricane Melissa. We’re cutting through the red tape and politics to get money, materials, and manpower directly to the people who need it most. Every dollar goes toward helping real Jamaicans restore their homes, livelihoods, and sense of normalcy before the holidays.

How are the funds being used?

All contributions go straight to rebuilding and relief work on the ground—roof repairs, zinc, lumber, tarps, food, baby supplies, and emergency materials. We’re sourcing items locally whenever possible to keep money circulating inside Jamaica. No overhead. No delay. Just direct help from hand to hand.

Who can join the rebuild team?

We’re organizing groups of skilled men and women—carpenters, roofers, plumbers, electricians, and general laborers—to travel to Jamaica as a unified mission team. If you have your own tools, that’s a huge advantage. The goal is simple: stabilize, secure, and restore as many homes as possible before Christmas. We’ll also be distributing tarps to families who need temporary shelter until full repairs can be made.
